Bridget Gilbert - Varsity Coach

 

Bridget was born and raised in St. Louis until 1986, when she moved to Northern California and worked as an Accountant for a variety of Country Clubs.  While working for various clubs, she honed her golfing skills and eventually enrolled in Q-School and competed in the California State Amateur,  US Amateur, and Mid-Amateur.  While touring on the amateur circuit in California, she met her husband John and they married in 1990. 

 

Bridget moved back to St. Louis in 1998 and  became Varsity golf coach in 2007.  

Her teams have captured 5 district titles, 1 district runner up and 1 4th place finish. In sectionals, they have captured sectionals 5 times, 1 runner up and 1 4th place finish. During State championship play, Ursuline has been to state as a team 6 out of the 7 years she has been coach. Ursuline placed 2nd in 2010, 3rd in 2009 & 2011, 4th in 2007, 6th in 2008 and 7th in 2012. 2013 saw the first year only one individual player made the state tournament. 

 

 

Bridget and her husband, John have 3 children and live in Webster Groves.
